Installing Solar Pv on your property will reduce your carbon footprint as your home is using renewable energy sources.
Solar generation can provide you with some protection from power outages. Including battery storage to your system enables you to store any excess energy which can be used during peak times, during the night and potential power outages. In order to use electricity during power outages you would require a gateway/ changeover switch.
Commercial solar panels come with up to a 25 year warranty period and require minimal maintenance. Systems often include an online monitoring system which enables you to remotely monitor your systems performance.
At e-gener8 we have a dedicated design team who will work with you to design a bespoke system based upon your exact requirements and specifications.
During the consultation phase, a member of our team will take the time to understand your energy requirements and how we can help you meet your sustainability goals.
Our technical team will conduct either a remote or in person site survey. The survey enables our team to evaluate the roof space, the building structural integrity and any other environmental impacts, including shading.
Your energy consumption and bills will also be analysed to enable the team to build your system.
Our design team will create a bespoke system based upon your specification and requirements and information gained form the site survey.
Once designed you will receive a proposal which details, system design, products to be used, expected energy generation and payback period and the cost of system and installation.
Once you have authorised your proposal our financing team will create your contract and request a deposit.
Prior to installation e-gener8 will apply for permission to install a system from the local network and to connect the system to the national grid.
Once all permissions have been granted, we will work with you to determine an installation date.
Once agreed our team of installers will arrive and install your system including panels, mounting kits, inverters and batteries.
Dependent on the size of your system an install may take multiple days.
Once the install is completed the system will undergo an inspection. This includes the commissioning of the system, which involves turning on the system and testing it to ensure it is working correctly.
Once Inspection and Commissioning has been completed, you will receive a handover, which includes a demonstration of the system including all safety features and explanation of paperwork.
